Our hot-dip galvanized (HDG) ladder cable tray, also called cable ladder, is made for heavy cable routes that face weather, moisture, and industrial air. After the rails and rungs are fabricated and welded into a ladder, the whole tray is dipped in molten zinc, so the zinc covers every surface, including the weld areas, the rung ends, and the inside of the side rails. The open ladder design gives the best airflow around the cables and lets dust and water pass through, and the thick zinc coating gives long-lasting protection with little maintenance.

Key Features
- Zinc on every surface: galvanizing after fabrication coats the welds, rung joints, and edges that other finishes can leave exposed
- Built for harsh conditions: suited to outdoor routes, tunnels, plants, substations, and humid or dusty areas
- Heavy-duty construction: strong side rails and rungs carry large power cables and high cable counts
- Best airflow and drainage: the open rung design lets heat escape and keeps water and dust from collecting
- Low maintenance: no repainting is needed during normal service life
- Complete system: matching bends, tees, reducers, splice plates, covers, and brackets can be supplied with the same finish

Finish: hot-dip galvanized, [confirm: coating thickness or standard, e.g. the standard your project requires]. Standard length: [confirm, e.g. 3000 mm or 6000 mm]. Safe working load: [confirm, per size and span]. Custom widths, heights, thicknesses, rung spacing, and lengths are available on request.
Where to Use It
- Outdoor and rooftop routes carrying power cables
- Industrial plants, factories, and refineries
- Power stations, substations, and utility facilities
- Tunnels, metro, and infrastructure projects
- Humid or damp areas where pre-galvanized tray is not enough
HDG Ladder Tray or Pre-Galvanized Ladder Tray?
| Hot-Dip Galvanized | Pre-Galvanized | |
|---|---|---|
| How it is made | The finished ladder is dipped in molten zinc | Zinc-coated sheet is formed into the ladder |
| Welds, edges, rung joints | Coated | Not coated, or only touched up |
| Coating | Thicker, covers every surface | Thinner, smooth surface |
| Typical use | Outdoor, humid, heavy industrial | Dry, clean indoor |
| Cost | Higher | Lower |
For strongly corrosive sites such as coastal or chemical areas, ask us about stainless steel.
Good to Know
- Check load against span: the safe working load depends on the support spacing, so confirm it at the span you plan to use
- Small cables: small cables are not supported between the rungs, so consider a perforated or solid bottom tray, or use cable supports, for them
- Field cutting: cutting exposes bare steel, so treat cut edges with a suitable zinc-rich touch-up product, following the manufacturer's instructions
- Match the hardware: use hardware with suitable corrosion protection, so bolts and brackets do not become the weak point
