Our galvanized solid bottom cable tray has a continuous, unperforated base and two solid side rails, protected by a zinc coating. The solid base supports cables along their full length and keeps dust, debris, and small objects out, while the zinc coating protects the steel from corrosion. It is a practical choice for control, instrumentation, and data cables, and for routes that need more protection than perforated or ladder tray can give. Choose pre-galvanized finish for dry indoor routes, or hot-dip galvanized finish for outdoor, humid, and industrial areas.
Key Features
- Full cable support: the continuous base carries small and soft cables along their entire length, with no sagging between rungs or holes
- Better protection: solid sides and base keep dust, debris, and small objects out, and stop cables from falling through
- Zinc corrosion protection: the galvanized finish protects the steel, with no repainting needed during normal service life
- Conductive surface: zinc is conductive, so galvanized tray joints generally make electrical continuity easier than painted tray
- Optional cover: a matching galvanized cover closes the run for extra protection
- Complete system: matching bends, tees, reducers, covers, and supports can be supplied with the same finish

Material: galvanized steel, [confirm: pre-galvanized, hot-dip galvanized, or both]. Standard length: [confirm, e.g. 2000 mm]. Cover: optional. Custom widths, heights, thicknesses, lengths, and cover types are available on request.
Where to Use It
- Control and instrumentation cable routes
- Dusty areas, workshops, and industrial plants
- Electrical rooms and data cable routes that need protection
- Routes where small cables must be supported along their full length
Good to Know
- Heat: a solid base gives less airflow than perforated tray, so check cable ratings and fill if the cables run warm
- Water: in outdoor or damp routes, water can collect on a solid base, so ask us about drainage holes if needed
- Fixing cables: cables are fixed with clamps or ties to the tray, since there are no perforations to tie through
- Cut edges: treat field-cut ends with a suitable zinc-rich touch-up product, following the manufacturer's instructions
