Our cable tray fittings let a cable tray run change direction, change level, branch, or change width, so that a complete route can be built from straight lengths and fittings. The range covers horizontal and vertical bends, tees, crosses, reducers, and offset bends, for trough-type (solid-bottom), tray-type (perforated), and ladder-type tray. Fittings are made in the same material, finish, width, and depth as the straight tray, so the route is uniform from end to end. The diagram below shows the standard fitting shapes, and custom angles and sizes are made to your drawings.

Key Features
- Complete range: bends, tees, crosses, reducers, and offset bends for horizontal and vertical changes of route
- Matches the tray: same material, finish, width, depth, and thickness as the straight tray
- Three tray types: fittings for trough-type, tray-type (perforated), and ladder-type tray
- Smooth edges and curves: formed to guide cables without sharp edges that could damage insulation
- Standard and custom: standard angles and sizes, plus custom angles, radii, and dimensions on request
- Joint hardware included or available: splice plates, bolts, and nuts that match the fittings
- Several materials: pre-galvanized steel, hot-dip galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, and other finishes [confirm the materials you supply]
Fitting Types
| Fitting | What it does | Diagram codes |
|---|---|---|
| Horizontal bend | Changes direction of a run in the horizontal plane | A3 (trough), A24 (ladder), A25 (tray) |
| Horizontal tee | Splits a run into two branches in the horizontal plane | A2 (trough), A26 (ladder), A27 (tray) |
| Horizontal cross | Joins four directions at one point | A17 (trough), A28 (ladder), A29 (tray) |
| Reducer | Changes the width of the tray from one size to another | A1, A10, A21, A22 |
| Vertical bend (up, down, left, right) | Takes the run up or down, turning left or right as it goes | A11, A12, A13, A14, A15, A19 |
| Vertical concave and convex bend | Takes the run over or under an obstacle, or round a corner in the vertical plane | A30 to A33 (ladder and tray) |
| Vertical tee | Branches the run upward, downward, or sideways in the vertical plane | A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, A9, A18, A20 |
| Vertical cross | Joins runs in several vertical directions | A16, A23 |
| High-low offset bend | Shifts the run to a different height | A34 |
| Horizontal offset bend | Shifts the run sideways to a parallel line | A35 |

Where to Use It
- Commercial and public buildings, for turns and branches in the main route
- Industrial plants, power plants, and substations
- Data centers and telecom rooms
- Tunnels, airports, and infrastructure projects
- Any tray run that changes direction, height, or width
Good to Know
- Match the fitting to the tray: the fitting must have the same type, width, depth, material, and finish as the straight tray it joins
- Check the bend radius: the radius must not be smaller than the minimum bend radius of the largest cable in the tray
- Support near the fitting: supports should be placed close to each fitting, following the design and the manufacturer's instructions
- Bond across joints: splice joints at fittings should be bonded to keep the tray electrically continuous, tested according to your project specification
- Treat cut edges: if a fitting is cut or adjusted on site, treat the exposed edges as the manufacturer instructs
- Send a layout: a route drawing helps us count the fittings you need, because the number of bends and tees varies with the layout
Why Choose Wanan
Wanan has been manufacturing cable management products since 2004, with a 20,000 m² factory. We supply EPC contractors, MEP contractors, and distributors, with drawings, OEM/ODM service, and documents such as material certificates and inspection reports on request. Send us your route drawing, tray sizes, and finish, and our team will quote straight tray and fittings together.
